Who's That Baby?

Let's play a game called "Who's That Baby?" Try to decide if the baby in each picture is Luke or Nathan. The answers will be at the end of the pictures.

Surprise! They are all of Luke! Don't the boys look alike when they are the same age?

Mother's Day

Mother’s Day was a busy but good day. After a great lunch at the Wilson’s we headed home. As the kids were leaving, Papa “snuck” a bag of peanut M&M’s in each grandchild’s pocket. We found Nathan’s and took it out of his pocket before getting in the Jeep. Luke found his own treat and you could not have pried it out of his hand! The bright yellow, crinkly bag was an amazing treasure! So, Jeff and I let him keep it and headed home. When we were almost home, I looked back at Luke and got a big surprise. He had poked a hole in the package and was eating all the M&M’s. He was very quietly enjoying his treasure! By the time we got home, he had eaten all the M&M’s. Of course we had to take pictures of his fun. Thanks Papa!

The whole event reminded me of one time when I was a little girl and my Papaw took me to the store and bought me a huge bag of Hershey Kisses. First, it was amazing that I had gone anywhere with my grandfather by myself. With two brothers, a sister and a cousin nearby, trips alone with the grandparents were rare. Then, to have a huge bag of candy! Wow! It only got better when my Mom said that I did not have to share the candy with anyone. What a wonderful day! It’s funny the things you remember.

Simple Things

It’s amazing how much joy slobber on a window and trucks on a window sill can bring. I came upon this in the kitchen last night after the boys had gone to bed. It made me smile.

Mother's Day, Take I

We were trying to make Mother's Day cards for Mimi and Grammy. I turned my back for just a minute...Sorry Mimi and Grammy but your cards may be a little late. Bye the way, that is a red crayon in Luke's mouth, not candy. Mmmmm, we had fun picking that out of his teeth.

B-A-T-H

The boys love to take a bath so much that Jeff and I have started spelling "bath" until we are totally ready for bath time. Here is a picture of the boys waiting anxiously for the water to run. What you can't see is both of them excitedly bouncing up and down.

Bad Hair Day

Daddy, what did you do to my hair?

For Michael

Whenever I see plums I always think of my nephew, Michael. I'm happy to report that Luke loves plums just like his cousin!

Making Memories

Reading a book with Papaw (a truck book of course).
