Waking Up

It's so rare that I can get a picture of all three boys, at the same time. But, this past Sunday, it happened! Eli was up first and I brought him into the big boys' room with me to get them up. After the boys got changed, they wanted to sit with Eli (a rare occurrence). So, I quickly grabbed the camera and was able to get these two. Never mind the u-g-l-y green curtains in the background! They are awesome for blocking out light at nap time so I can't give them up!

Nathan, still a willing cheeser!

Graduation

I really like for this blog to be mostly about the boys. But, I will say that I have officially graduated! A long journey has come to an end and the next one has begun! I was so very thankful to my entire family for making it to the graduation. Conditions were not ideal by any means and were especially difficult for the children. But everyone was so kind and so excited for me, in spite of all the trouble! I appreciate my family so much, I could never express it all here. But, I want everyone to know that I feel like the most blessed person in the world to have such wonderful support and love. Thank you all so much!
I'm still gathering pictures from everyone so I may post more later. For now, just one!

6 Months?!!

My sweet baby turned 6 months old on the 23rd. He is growing so fast!
What is my Eli doing at 6 months?
Finally sleeping through the night! About 8PM-6 or 7 AM.
Drinking a 6 oz bottle, 4 times a day.
Eating cereal for breakfast.
Eating fruit and veggies for lunch and dinner (baby food #1).
Loves bananas and does not like anything green (but I hide it in the fruit).
Rolling around!
Not sitting up yet but gives it a good try.
VERY ticklish.
Does not scream during his bath anymore (usually).
Loves the "walker" thing, or as Nathan calls it, Eli's truck. I think he likes it because he can see everything without the worry that he will be trampled.
Squeals with delight when the big boys pay attention to him.
And, my favorite, loves his Mommy!
Eli is so very sweet and easy. I have been so blessed to have him these past 6 months. He is laid back and has a very easy smile. He occasionally still likes to be swaddled and when I pick him up, all wrapped up, and kiss his little face, he closes his eyes and giggles. What a delight to my heart. I'm so glad you are here with us Eli!
I love you little muffin.

Getting Ready

Saturday, Grammy and Papa kept the boys (BIG THANKS!) so that Jeff and I could go to Fort Worth to set up my new office. The best part was the name on my door! It's starting to seem real now.
The education building, where my office is located.
My new school.
Even though I'm not looking forward to leaving the boys each day, I'm thankful for my new job and the wonderful opportunity it is for me and our family.

Summer Days...Drifting Away...

Nothing special to report. Just making fun memories and I wanted to record them here.
Eli, about 5 months and 1 week. He's getting so big!
His feet are touching now. When I started putting him in this truck (as Nathan calls it), his feet were not touching.

The big boys went with Daddy on Saturday to get doughnuts. Luke is actually saying "cheese." This is the best I could get of both of them.
Eli was taking it all in.
Can he get any cuter?!
This morning, I had put away their clothes and they hopped in the basket afterward. I could not believe they both looked my way when I asked them to! Notice that Nathan has underwear on over his diaper. He insists because Luke is wearing it, he wants to too!

And a final shove off before Daddy heads to work!
