I wanted to be sure and put a picture on the blog of Luke's biggest boo boo to date. He was running at school, fell and hit his ear on a chair. This was pretty bad. It stayed purple for a couple of weeks and was able to replace Luke's chin injury as the worst to date.
On September 23rd, Eli turned 7 months. It was a school day so I woke him up a little early to get these pictures before we started our day. Poor thing still has sleep indentations on his face. Eli continues to be very easy going and a joy to have around. He sleeps 12 hours at night, naps twice a day, and goes to sleep by himself with little or no crying. He is amazing! He eats four Gerber #2 food containers a day and drinks 24 oz of formula. Despite all this food, he was in the 3rd percentile for weight at his 6 month check up! I've been trying to fatten him up ever since. The teachers at school love Eli and comment about how happy and easy he is. They tell me it's easy to tell he's a third baby! I'm so blessed.
We have this crazy horse in the garage. Her name is Buttercup and she was a pass on gift from a sweet friend of mine. When Luke was 2 and Nathan 1, we brought Buttercup into the house for the boys but, at the time, they were afraid of her. She takes batteries and makes noise and moves her head back and forth. In the garage she is much less menacing. As the boys have gotten older they have begun to love Buttercup. Here's Nathan riding Buttercup, or Miss One Ear as she is also known.
